The Senlis Foederate is a despotic polity of inhospitable worlds in a backwater of the Trojan Reach, and the Travellers will play a pivotal role in a desperate gambit to change the fate of the Foederate forever.

Fighting alongside a rebellion, the Travellers find themselves in a series of heists, from robbing a gravrail to rescuing rebels from a base on Magen, then assaulting a prison convoy, accessing a vault, and finally helping their patron in a coup against the government regime.

Throughout this adventure, the Travellers can enact real change throughout the Federation. However, their profits hang in the balance, as do the lives of millions.

The Hellworld Heists includes:

• New ships, vehicles and construction robots
• Animal and sophont encounters throughout the despotic Senlis Foederate
• Five different heists for the Travellers to play through

It looks pretty fun so far. . If there is a raging storm going, how does the reaction force get to the train if they are alerted in 6dx2 Minutes. Using the rules as written the pilot checks would be at -4 in the storm which a normal NPC with professional level skill of 2 would be crazy to try? That is beside the Recon check which I can assume they would not need to make as they know exactly where the train is.

Oh, good question! The 6D x 2 Minute response time does not factor in the storm at all. It represents the typical response time on a normal day.

In regards to emergency services facing the storm, given that the train can't signal for help for the period it's in the storm, personnel likely do not notice anything is amiss until the train fails to emerge at the scheduled time. Even then, there's probably a buffer of time where they would assume the train is just late. The question becomes, by the time the responders arrive, has the storm raged past? If the train is still in the middle of the tempest, it's a little like firefighters at the edge of a forest fire. They could risk it make the push to save lives, but they also know enough to respect the power of nature. In the end it's a Routine (6+) Flyer check with a DM-4. If they have a +2 in it, they need a 8+. How heroic do they feel?

Thanks for the response! The encounter no longer needs Hand Wavium on my part.
