    First game for many new players - advice please

    when i demo'ed the game i did a modified version of the Battle royale scenario. everyone gets one raid for the first game, learn basics. Second game was the same scenario at battle level for a bigger ship or a pair of ships. Doesnt take too long for both games (damned white stars)

    when choosing allies for those who are allowed them, do you have to spend the whole point on just allies, or can you mix the allies in with ships of your fleet ie if you spend a point like this: 1 battle point: 1 Hyperion 1 Psi-corp mothership

    as much as i love the crusade look, you are so correct, you loose alot of punch in the fleet.

    you get hyperions explorers and dephi at raid in crusade. I have also found that I'm getting my teeth kicked in as a crusade player unless i bring out the dirty cheese (lots of ini sinks and hyperions). The Crusade era ships of battle and higher (minus the all powerfull excalliber) are wastes...

    i've got maybe 6 arm points between earth alliance and psi-corp. and one shadow ancient. I'll let badgerclaw sound off his own assets, but i know he has two victorys (and i have a third he can use if we really wat to let the galaxy burn!)
