vorlon how cool are they?

At the moment I play ISA.

I love the little white stars.

But I'm looking for something new to play and those nasty little Vorlon's pretty cool.

So I'm asking the people on the forum what do they think
about our crazy accounts suit wearing aliens?

What do you like about them?

What don't you like about them?


By the way, does anybody know how to set the avatar on their members
postings?

lol, thats ENCOUNTER suits ;)

Anyway though, Vorlons are an interesting race, their ships can take a hell of a beating thanks to their adaptive armour and they have phenomenal forward firepower but they lack any side or rear weapons so if you can outmaneuver them theyre pretty screwed. I like em though :)

And to set your Avatar you need to go to the profile page (up the top) and upload one down the bottom (read the instructions and make sure its a SMALL picture)
 
I agree, once the enemy is out of your forward arc you spend most of the game trying to get them back into it and that's especially difficult if they happen to be agile and in possession of a high speed. You'll find yourself having to make a lot of 'come about' rolls. (They can do them right, I'm running from memory and its not the most reliable thing at the moment)
 
My only gripe with the Vorlon fleet is that they have no Scouts and no Carriers. Why is that?

I mean where do all those lovely Vorlon fighters snuggle up when they are not rippling to bits bigger ships?

Also I personally think that being a very advanced race they should treat stealth lowering as a Leshath (sorry if i spelt this wrong), lowering the stealth to 1+.
 
They have no scouts or carriers as an in-built fleet weakness. The fighters use jump points created by big ships.

Lowering stealth to 1+ would make sense from a fluff point of view but it would be totally overpowered.

Ah, well, if you get down toward Aurora, "we" play most Friday nights and some Saturday nights at Attactix. Always room for more. :) We're also looking at getting a campaign going.

Well, you could always team up with someone. If you can't make it then the game goes on. Fear not. Vorlons and Shadow would only be random occurances, not player run races. After all, we can only tolerate so much of a good thing. ;)
