Zhodani and Campaign Guide delays

Zhodani and the Campaign Guide have, unfortunately, hit some delays and will likely be appearing in April now - but they will certainly be worth waiting for! We will update the site as soon as we have a firm date

We have also had some hiccups with both Dynasty and Sword Worlds, but it looks like everything is sorted now and their release dates will not be affected.

We will also have something of an unexpected surprise for Traveller fans tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled...

RE: Zhodani

I don't know what the lag time is from submitting a manuscript and getting it edited, art work submitted, layout, printing and distribution.

However, I can comment on the manuscript as I've been privileged to be able to help out with it WRT proofing and some reviewing. It's in very good shape; effectively everything is there and the polish is just being applied. It's looking good.

I looked on the Mg website and couldn't find any reference to a Sword Worlds book. Any hints anyone? :)

Wondered if someone would catch that. Don't know anything else about it myself.

I seem to recall Sword Worlds being mentioned months ago and then slipping off the Mongoose screens.

Mind you the new edition o f PReviews had more information on the upcoming Traveller's Aid Society supplement than the Mongoose site does at the moment.

Yup, it was mentioned once upon a time without details though.

Zhodani: As mentioned in the last Planet Mongoose post, we have had some delays on the manuscript for this book, but it is shaping up to be a good 'un! Everyone's favourite psionic humans will be making an appearence this summer.

Planet Mongoose has it pegged for July Release

I am actually hoping for Late May/Early June, but July is the absolute latest it will appear. We've already got the art (aside from a few ships and deck plans) sorted, and we are literally just waiting for a handful of chapters.

Almost there!

This sounds really good, looking forward to this 8)

just wish Mongoose would stop challenging my budget with all this cool stuff  (definetly going to have to think about buying this one)

EEEKK! I know Don's not really waiting for me, but he sent me the last two chapters today to have a look at, so I better get off of these forums and start proofing/reviewing!

Once I have the Zhodani book in my hands I will kick into high gear with the cybernetics/psionic heavy game I have been contemplating for over a year. On and off ever since I got into Shadowrun many years ago, to be more precise. The Robot book has been more help than I thought it would be as well.

who did the Zhodani UPP data is it from scratch or was the data on the Net for the sector used?

I can't answer that question for you, but I'll trust Don has done the 'right thing'. The manuscript is on the last push and due to be submitted to Mongoose this Fri. Not long now....

Gone through it, changed small worlds with breathable atmospheres to large worlds with breathable atmospheres and switched the populations of high-pop hellworlds with those of low-pop garden worlds?

Hi Jame,

I'm not sure what the question mark at the end of your sentence means. Are you saying you've reviewed the data for Don or that you're making these suggestion?

Anyway, I'm sitting at my computer right now looking at the Ziafrplians chapter.

Making those suggestions. I will take this opportunity to point out that I have not been and likely will never be involved with the writing of the Zhodani book. (I may buy it, but that'd be my involvement.)
