World Builder's Handbook Sibling Star question

Hello again

On page 29, for Sibling Stars. It say to make the Secondary Star have the same Type and to subtract 1d6 from the sub type. And then adjust the type if it's colder etc. This works fine for most stars but I feel like it gets issues after M4? If I increase an M9 star by anything, would it then become a Brown Dwarf instead? Or should I change it by a different amount or a different way in that case?

hey, I’d say that if an M9 star changes to something higher, just keep it as M9 instead of making it a Brown Dwarf. maybe tweak it slightly to be like a "warmer M9"? sometimes you gotta bend the rules a bit to make it work!
