It arrives at our warehouse today, and will be going off to distributors this week - you should start seeing it in stores next week!

Great news! Congratulation! :D

So this means it will be sent to those who've pre-ordered it next week as well, right?

....which means it'll take about a year to appear in Milton Keynes ;)

Matt - thought: are you going to be producing a pdf version as well? If so, any ideas (roughly) on when it will be available, and from where?

The PDF version will appear towards the end of next month, and will be on Drivethru.
Will people who've (pre-)ordered the print version get a discount on the PDF one? I mean, I like to have a hard copy at hand during actual play (this is why I've pre-ordered the book), but a searchable PDF would be great for saving prep time.

Went by and told my FLGS that it should be at his distributors this week, so I hope to have it in my hot hands by Monday!

As my gaming store is run by a bunch of blithering dolts, Amazon shall be my salvation, and often has.
When T20 came out, I went to that gaming store and asked about it..it had been out for 1 month...their response was:

Blithering Dolt: "Uhmm don't you mean d20? We have plenty of Dungeons and Dragons books over on the shelf."

Me:"No, T20...Traveller? Traveller for d20?"

BD:"Huh...Traveller for d20? never heard of it. <Phone Rings> Just a second, let me answer this <answers phone> Hullo? Last Gr******r, 5th Mountain African Corp? Of course we have that, do you need rifleman or grenadiers? Oh both? Well the grenadiers went out of stock a while back, I can special order those for you if you would like, they will be here tomorrow, I'll over night them. Yes of course, thank you and have a great day! <hangs up phone> Sorry, um yeah I can't help you, never heard of T20 before..."

Now of course Im not being fair because the owner of the store actually had 2 stores and he closed the one down that actually knew its stuff, leaving the one run by twits to remain open...yes...Amazon.com/RPG.net...the next generation gaming store for those in the LA area! :P
GAH!!!!!!!

Matthew,

I have this same question. I'm happy to buy a reduced price PDF as well as my hardcopy pre-order. Will this be an option? Maybe include a cupon code with the books or even send an email to your preorder people.

While we do not have the facility to offer this at the moment, it is certainly something we are looking into .

Would a small bribe help? :-)

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Well, I've got a copy on order. Which is kind of necessary since it's virtually certain the only Traveller I'll be writing for in future is Mongoose Traveller...

That doesn't rule out virtually systemless materials, but Avenger/Comstar will be supporting Mongoose Traveller so that will be our baseline where there are differences from other versions.
