What Have You Painted Today??

Just finished putting together a Lt.Derina pattern shadow stalker. I've got another on my table in bits, but putting one shadow scout together a night is enough for my sanity.

@ Banichi: Yes they do, I'm working on Early War at the moment.

Here are some WIP's

But Today, I painted this:

Both the Germans, and the dreadnought look really good. I had to fight the must get minies urge when I looked at the renegade site. What gaming system do you use for the WW1 minies? Or do you collect them for there own sake?

Finished Lt. Caine for my Cygnar Warmachine army today (pics tomorrow) and i'll be starting another couple of Vree ships this week.

Vree and Cygnar, how cool am i?

@Banichi: I bought these when a friend of mine closed out his store, so I've just had them lying around. I am considering doing a mod of BF:Evo World at War since the bolt action rifles hadn't changed much between the wars.

True, and you could pretty much use the English WW2 vickers machine gun as a basis for all WW1 machine guns. (because thats what it was basically). Grenades and morters would also be pretty easy to swap over to a WW1 mod as well. Gas attacks would be interesting to represent in a tabletop game. As they are basically an area effect that lingers on the table, and slowly disapates.

First mini for new Inquisition army.

it's nice but i think the yellow needs more depth, i'd be tempted to paint a medium brown into the deepest recesses, especially between the plates on the chest knees and feet and maybe round the eagle and skull on the shoulders. that would make it "pop" a little more

Thank you for the laugh Derina!

I will never see a Sisters of Battle army without thinking of them dancing the Twist with John Travolta again...
