I just tried to vote but I'm not convinced my votes registered. The screen just seemed to reset when I pressed the submit votes button...

It depends on the type of connection you have. It won't let you re-vote with the same IP address but if you have mobile broadband it will let you keep going, that is probably true with standard personal home connections also I would think, but it probably has registered.

Surely that renders the voting system totally useless? The awards can easily be manipulated. Genuine voters who share IP addresses can't vote, and people whose IP address changes regularly, can vote multiple times.

Not Mongoose's problem or fault, I know, but it just seems to make the awards totally meaningless.

Sounds like you are having problems as I was directed to a "Thanks for Voting" web page after voting.

What bad luck on their end. They have to feel like real dorks, first they can't get the vote to open on time and then to have to reset it. :roll:
