Found out this evening that Centurion is having a Monggose rep (no idea who) visit and promote the game later this month. An inquiry to Centurion regarding the recent pics has been passed on in hopes of passing it to the rep.

You mean visiting the distributor not your LFGS right?

Of course I might be able to make a trip over once I get my stuff and find a cheap motel in Murray.

Yes, the distributor. But it's in New Jersey so that's a heck of a drive.

We are trying to run a local con this fall. Or there are at least 3 of going to GenCon this year if you want to hook up then.

Interesting Hiro...All three of my LGS's said pretty much the same thing yours did regarding releases of BFE. I'm up against it as it is though. One refuses to carry it, one will need an unrealistic amount of convincing and the third is ready willing and able. Oh yeah, it's also over two hours away! Bah!!! :?

Heh, I know the feeling. There's one shop I almost can't even go into because of the amount of leering I get from the owner over what he calls his "Monument to SST" (which is of course a polite way of saying look at all the stuff on my shelves that isn't moving). :?

I've tentavely brought up evo multiple times- "Hey listen to this battle report from S&P", "Man these tanks look cool..." etc., but I have to admit that it doesn't seem to be making me any friends. Maybe the two of us should start some sort of shelter for wayward/dissplaced MGP minis players :lol:

Yeah.... well, given you're in Pittsburg, and I'm over in DC..... most of the players here are...well... fair weather players. They like the game, but there's no regular night.

Please do! My favorite FLGS moved to a bigger location with tables made by GF9, and I think you'd appreciate an Urban combat SST game!
