I like the work of John Berkey. Among other things, he apparently did the cover art for the Nightshade Books' Hammers Slammers collections and the space opera The Dragon Never Sleeps.

I did a little searching for good art, specifically ships, and I found a treasure trove. There are so many images by so many artists I would be doing a disservice by posting a single image here. Even better, the site looks like it gets updated quite often.
