Traveller Release Schedule 2025

Did any more news ever appear? I did try hunting around
The Kickstarter for it kicks off April 17th.

From the kickstarter:

"Thousands of years ago, a godlike alien intelligence was found floating in a derelict ship, lost in the depths of a stellar abyss. Now trapped in an Imperial Research Station, Naalir has awoken and it wants the Travellers’ help."

Matt says "This is a grand campaign, exploring the ethics and implications of artificial intelligence on a grand scale", so is this alien intelligence a machine intelligence?

"Singularity is an epic campaign that takes your Travellers to places they never imagined they would — or could — go; the glorious worlds of the Core: the throneworld of Capital, the vast archives of Reference, and the opulent worlds of the Sylean Main. As the campaign kicks into high gear, the Travellers voyage by means they never thought possible, traversing not just the Core, but the whole of Charted Space."

This suggests a faster way of getting around than jump drive...

"Covered in three stunning hardbacks, Singularity delves into the themes of the ethics and implementation of artificial intelligence, the nature of humanity, how these might coexist and could change one’s perception of reality."
Bet there will be more books as stretch goals.

When can we expect "Great Rift Adventures 1-5"? This Friday? Next week?
I'll start my Great Rift Campaign this Wednesday (with Flatlined) a would like to read the two new adventures, so I can evaluate them and plan further into the future.
My group just finally got off the Deepnight Endeavour, so probably real soon now.

The Aslan Hierate better come with a pronunciation key for any names.
I think running a aslan game would be neat, but if I cant say any of the names, then its all gonna be name bob. And thats like a good fraction of the fun.
Also a name generator. Not like a real generator. Just sound and spelling like generator to make Aslan enough looking words.

Three words: International Phonetic Alphabet. So-called 'phonetic spellings' aren't, because I don't know what dialect of English the writer speaks (not to mention, they crash and burn with phonemes that aren't in my - my - dialect.)
If you look at a chart of the IPA (the alphabet, not the overrated beer), then you'll notice it's basically designed around the human mouth and throat. It's a problem we all have with creating alien languages. Somebody on this forum suggested that Star Wars has this right, with many aliens chittering or growling in their own tongues and human(oid?)s responding back in, well, English. Unless you're watching the movies dubbed in some other language, of course, but now I'm getting pedantic.

Sometimes the aliens are cheating. Sullustans speak the Bantu language of Haya, apparently. Or maybe SoroSuub simply has a lot of Tanzanian investors?

I know this very well.

Speech therapists have created unauthorized extensions to IPA for transcribing various types of speech disfluencies. Something similar could be done for most aliens. (For Hivers, you're on your own.)
