In the Core rulebook and CSC the various categories of weapons have the skill that would be needed to operate the weapons in that category. However, in the VHB2026 not all of the categories have a skill listed.
- Artillery Weapons = Heavy Weapons (artillery)
- Direct-Fire Weapons = Heavy Weapons (vehicle)
- Energy Weapons = ??? (for some similar weapons the CSC lists Heavy Weapons (vehicle) and it is probably ok to use here)
- Rockets, Bombs & Missiles = Heavy Wepoans (vehicle)
- Archaic Weapons = ??? (while there are smaller archaic weapons in other books, these are all new)
- Biotech Weapons = ??? (this is a new category of weapons)
