Traveller - Noun and Verb?

Greetings all. I'm seeing a lot of instances where the word Traveller is being used as a verb. I always thought it only gained the second L as a noun. Am I off base here? How do we look at travel vs. travell, travels vs travells, traveled vs. travelled, traveling vs. travelling? The two I've seen in the book a few times are travelled, and travelling.

*facepalm* I double checked just about every other word to see if it was the British spelling, but didn't even think to check that one. Kindly disregard.
