I sent another email, with a scan of book+receipt, and got a quick reply from Matthew.
Just downloaded the book, and it looks far, far better than the print edition.
There is still at least one place where the text wanders into the space occupied by the edge of the page art (page 96), and a few others where the text impinges on the corner art, but overall the clean white background makes this a joy to read compared to the print edition.
Yes, the EA Shuttle deckplan is not present, it wasn't present in the print edition, either.
The errata in the errata sheet are included, but not the free adventure, so it's worth the download for the adventure even if you have the PDF.
The errors in the AUTO listing for the weapons in the equipment section has not been addressed in the PDF. I'm using an AUTO rating of 2 for the PPG handguns, 4 for the rifles (PPG and Centauri), and 8 for the D'Va'Tak Pulse Rifle (pages 79 and 80 in both print and PDF). YMMV.
For those who only have the PDF--do not fear, you are not missing anything in those blank sections of pages. They were blank in the print edition as well, it was just less obvious with the background art in place. It's better this way.
