Traveller 5E

I'm cautiously interested. I'm not expecting it will be my cup of tea, but it might make it easier to get one of my groups interested in Traveller.

If it brings more gamers into Traveller, that's a plus.
A concern of mine is that we already have brand/edition confusion in Traveller. Having two more editions named so close together (T5 and soon, inevitably, "T5E") makes this worse.

I did a test yesterday, it is worse than you think. I asked a player from my FRPG table to find a link to purchase T5 in digital format. 30 minutes later he gave up.

So neither you nor your "friend" that you invented an anecdote about can use search engines - which company did you run into the ground again?
You blew it face facts. You know nothing about how commerce happens online. If you were running mktg at a company you would bankrupt it in 5 days. LMAO!!!!

Your claim to no be able to find the T5 pdfs can be refuted by every search engine I have used so far...

I await your next childish reply with some humour, it is nice to have such a reasoned discussion with such a friendly forum member.

I wonder how similar this will be to T20 when it came out? It was similar to D&D in that you started at level 1 and went from there and kind of got rid of the character creation mini-game that Traveller always had. Also, by the time you got to level 20, you were very powerful, just like in D&D.
Actually T20 had the pre adventurer mini-game that was one of its biggest problems. I had a game with character ranging from 3 level to 12 level after character creation. To make matters worse you could have two different characters with the same number of terms have different levels. T20 was a complete mess, starting all characters at first level was one of the attempts to fix it.
