The Complete History of Traveller - Now Shipping!

Loving the book. On page 65 there's a map of Golden Age Land Grants that shows Canopus (just rimward of Magyar) assigned to "J. Tibbetts & Sons". Anyone know anything about that grant or publisher! I've never heard of either.

Publisher of The Grenadier Magazine, taking that over from GDW:

The Grenadier magazine issue 1 to 12 were published by GDW. The following issues were put out by J Tibbetts & Son.
Also published a News-letter (1992), The Bunker.

Mine arrived Monday and it has been an enjoyable read. A great addition to my collection. The one big mistake is that Beowulf is misspelled on the spine: Beowilf.
I didn't see that until you pointed it out, and I've even posted a picture of the spine... no words...

Everyone here is familiar with the Virginia Edition, right? Complete works of Robert A. Heinlein, in 46 volumes, bound in leather, limited edition of 2,000 printings, goes for 1,500 Unistat dollars a pop? Two of the volumes misspell Heinlein's name on the spine. 🤦

Is this a POD so the file can be fixed quickly or is it a pre-printed with a ton of books with the error on it?

I was looking to pick it up so I would like to know what I would be getting.

I think this is a little harsh, it’s a mistake and not a huge one in the scheme of things, same as one I highlighted a while ago. Annoying but not the end of the world

Having had a few books published with the best intentions of checking it all too easy to not see “obvious” mistakes
