How closely are the vehicle construction rules in the upcoming Military Vehicles aligned to those in Civilian Vehicles? The reason I'm asking is I've got some ideas in mind, and I'm wondering if I've already got the procedures I need or if I should wait for the new book to reach my FLGS.

They are the same. Just the book focuses on different types of vehicles. But the design system is the same in both books.

I imagine the difference is in the examples provided.

On another topic, I have also noticed the need for a "manipulator arm" type component (for things like back-hoes, mini-subs etc.).
