TMP: IWM: Babylon 5 Miniatures Return

Wher is the information from that the fighter not in 4 flight packs like in the past?
On IWM side and in the post^^ I can´t find something about this.

@Agis, bist du vom BFB Laden?

Also, I wonder if there will be boxed sets again. Probably only when most of the range is rereleased but I can't see how these boxed sets can fail to make more money (due to increased overall sales, even at a discount).

I was looking at FRP Games online store and they have some of the boxed sets as November pre-orders (not all of them). I presume this means retailers have received word that they will be available.

did you look at the prices? $9.95 for two starfury flights? $9.95 for a single Nial Flight? $10.95 for two thunderbolt flights? Does the Poseidon at $39.95 have any fighters?

ouch, nothing like hiking prices up. after the deals we all got from mongoose guess people wont be interested in things that high and would guess that posiedon doesnt come with fighters.
One chief reason is that tin, the primary ingredient in pewter is at double the price it was 2-3 years ago.

There is something more than price of tin at work here. Pre Mongoose sale prices for fighters was £6 for 24. we are now almost at £5 for 12 for the cheapest EA & much Worse for Narn & Minbari at almost £4.50 for 6

That price hike is not reflected in the ships other than the fighters, at least at no so high a percenatge increase. They also use more tin (not counting a metal flying base, (I hope this is not included))

I could guess at other answers. like some of the cavities have expired in the fighter moulds multiplying the labour factor or is the result of a simple mistake, however we have to wait to see what Iron Wind have to say.

True. Perhaps it is the result of a different analysis of COGS by IWM vs. MP to actually make the line profitable/viable.

I hope those FRP prices remain in effect as it would indicate that fighters are four to a pack. That would be consistent with the rest of IWM's prices.

As ever, we'll have to wait and see for the moment (this would make the difference between a £120 Dilgar fleet for me and an £80 fleet).

I don't know if I am a fan of the new packaging. I liked being able to see the minis, now I have to flip it over to see what is inside, can't view them off the wrack.

My Local Retailer is all setup for the blisters the way they were, and have probably one hundred unsold MGP blister, so making the display work with only a handful out seems to have stumped them.

Would the same old blister packs have cost more?
