Things We Do Not Love About B5 RPG (please get involved!)

One thing might be to separate out the Season 1 Fact Book from the rules to my mind; Yes, it would be an extra book to buy, but it would keep the season by season stuff in one lump of resource (ie my book shelf). It would also allow for a much expanded main rules book with the extra OGL stuff in it and expanded coverage of foor plans and the like for the station (hint hint).
I agree wholeheartedly, this is a very good idea!
(And I like your signature too, btw. Once you've been in Serenity, you never leave...)

I'm sure I heard the new version is going to be OGL (No PHB required)

Yes you have - in this very thread, actually (page 2).
LBH, I think I begin to understand how you ever became Cosmic Mongoose - either by stating the obvious, or by repeating what everyone already knows?...
(No offense, just kidding.)

One of my biggest faults is in the editing. I want to pay for a well thought out and written product, and I have numerous errors that I see as I read through the book at any time. Not that I am the greatest, I in fact depend on spell / grammer check all the time - But I am not an editor or a publisher.

Space combat is iffy at best. I would like to see a good system and also a good conversion that doesn't require calculus to interact with B5 Call to Arms.

I love the game, and aside from Stargate it is my favorite setting without fail - and I love the support that Mongoose has done for it. I was afraid that only a few books would come out and have been very pleased that isn't the case. All in all, thanks for a good game lets just polish it a little and it will stand as one of the best I think.

A new Space Combat rules set was in the works, whether they wrap it up into the new edition who can say?

Some of the playtesters may or may not be hearing rumblings of a 2nd edition. But AFAIK nothing is on paper yet.

The problem is that the person who was running the Rangers game, refuses to play or run a game of B5 until the Telepaths save DC/saves are fixed( :?: )

Well, in a bid to make myself look really stupid and ask a really stupid question (look, someone had to) - what's wrong with a house rule?

If your GM thinks the save DC's are too low, there is nothing wrong with increasing them for your game. If your GM wants to have a version of 'flat-footed' for telepathic abilities, then thats fine as well. Or, if your GM forces you to use your base willpower save (rather than including wisdom bonus, etc) if a telepathic attack/use is not anticipated, then that is fine too.

If the save DC's and saves don't feel right to your group then why not just tweak them?
