The Whole Wide World

I have not seen this movie. But, I hear about it, I find snippets of it on youtube, but I cant find it anywhere. From what I have found it looks like a good movie.

And this scene kicks ass!

Hey Malcadon.

It's a good movie. Well acted and directed. It's based on Novalyne Price's book "One who Walked Alone" - a great book and available on Amazon for only $23. I picked one up at Howard days a few years ago.

Be forewarned - the movie is mostly two people talking. Novalyne & Bob. if your not a fan of Howard - like my wife - you may find the movie somewhat lacking. Personally, I think the level of the actors and the wonderful screenplay more than make up for the singular focus.

My favourite part was where she creeps up behind his house to see him writing - shouting away as he hammers at the typewriter. An inspiration to all writers :)

That is a great scene! Surely you know the tale Robert was writing - and shouting - in that scene? *

Also, I almost forgot! The Whole Wide World is available for $5 in the Wal-mart movie bins. Maybe even online - I haven't checked.
