I got another message from Neal at the War Store this morning:
"I think the clearance sale will speak for itself... You can add that I am sorry it came to this, but we have been giving Mongoose a chance to get it straightened out all fall long."
I saw the AOG series die and wish I'd bought everything I could. I guess I should be grateful I got as much of the MGP stuff as I did. I don't see this game gaining in popularity by virtue of the series since it's been gone so long. The rules are alright, but not breathtaking. Many of the models are second rate with serious flaws that require extensive modeling experience to clean up - when you get all the right pieces. To all this you add stiff competition of other wargames, poor distribution and now higher prices, I can hear a bell toll.
