It arrived this morning, not a bad price either.

And now I shall rule the galaxy with a fist of steel.

Mwahahahahahahaha....

Grrr!

I'll need to chase up my FLGS to get it in. I've already preordered all of this years coming releases for B5 from them.

Must have supplements.

What?! You didn't buy it at the open day?

I was told the ones at the open Day weren't quite 100% on the lamination front. Couple this with it being preorderd at my FLGS I thought I'd just leave it. That and I'd already spent over £300.

I reckon I still spent more than any other 2 people there!

The lamination is defective but it is almost impossible to spot. It might start to peel after a while but I'm going to cover it in sticky plastic anyway.

It certainly isn't bad enough to justify giving them away for half price.

BTW a few people complained about the pixelation on the White Star pics in the Minbari book. The Black Omega double page spread.... WOW! Much better.

http://www.gameslore.co.uk/ have it.
http://www.waylandsforge.co.uk/ have it.

My FLGS had it www.greenangelgames.com

Hope that helps.

I have a question for those of you who pre-ordered psi corps and just got it in the mail or those who have see it in the shops. Do those copies have "iffy" covers like the ones sold at the Mongoose open day?

I only ask because there is a store here in California that has it and they say that their copies are fine, but I can't inspect the book b4 I buy it. It's too far away so I'd still have to mail order it. (Only bad thing about living in a state bigger than many countries)

Anywayz, I guess the real question is: Were there some good copies of Psi Corps or did some stores just not return their copies with the bad lamination job?

Thanks in advance to whoever can answer my crazy questions. :)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my copy and I got mine from my local games store. Copies in the UK usually come from the US, as far as I'm aware.

I bought it from my local game shop and had the chance to inspect it : the book is apparently flawless, and from a quick read-up, this also applies to the contents.

I like comments like this. Please make more of them.

Seriously - if anyone has any questions or further comments about Psi Corps, fire away....

I have a number of Q's.

My evil GM has my copy at the moment so I can't ask them all.

Some clarification on Vaults would be extremely helpful.

The original rules indicate that only one is allowed at a time. However Psi Corps implies that several are permisable and that nesting them is not only possible but common practice.

There was also at least one ability listed without a range but I can't remember which one....

You can have only one 'usable' memory vault at a time, but you can stick a memory vault inside that memory vault and so on. You also can't store any more information inside a nested set than you can in a single vault - nesting the vaults does not give you any more 'storage space'.

Flipping through the book, Action Block has no listed range. I can't find my copy of No Surrender, No Retreat - use the range there if it's listed; otherwise, it's the same as Deep Scan.

Thanks for the reply Gar.

To clarify. You can have several Vaults but they must all be nested. In fact Vaults automatically nest themselves.

For example, I create a vault on Monday and on Tuesday have reason to create another. As I am aware of the existence of such things the presence of Mondays can't prevent the creation of Tuesdays. Mondays becomes nested inside Tuesdays and can't be opened until Tuesdays is.

Problems. Tuesdays Vault might refer to different information. This would prevent its creation by exceeding the data limit. Double plus ungood. Also the critical information in Mondays would be unavailable until the potentially pointless information in Tuesdays is released. Triple plus ungood.

Psi Corps also states that Vaults may be placed in others. How does that work?

I just checked the book and the source file. Looks like it got though six layers of checks (or seven, depending on how you count it) without a range.

Range on Action Block is Touch (Close for a P12) according to my original notes. You have to be very close to set one up but the effects last a lifetime.

My FLGS says they will have it in tomorrow's delivery so I'll get it on Saturday when I'm in town!

Woo-hoo!!!

Now if only my Xmas shopping could be done by the time I get home with it!

I have sent one of my minions to pick my copy up, one is too busy to get it one's self.

(he offered since he works near our FLBGS)
