honestly said… I have the draft for the Charybdis in the head.
the currently model is a idea by my self. :wink:
I build the ship simply like it for me please. I do not have collecting main or sketches. Thus I very often build my models. The finished ship presents to you like an improved Hyperion variant. Crusade era similarly… like the tempest class cruiser, when you know it....
I will make times a drawn sketch around to show like I the finished model introduce myself.

Just curious, but isn't the name supposed to be charbydis? As in, Scylla and Charbydis, as in the straights of Scylla and Charbydis? Or am I just looking into it too much?

current status...
i had add the connection between the forward hull and the engine block,today. and a little bit of putting work on the entire hull, to fill some gaps.

ah I see so thats the front section only? For a minute there I was thinking that was the whole ship and it looked very very wrong 
Still not sure about the style, doesnt look like it really quite fits in with the rest of the crusade era ships but I'll wait and see how it turns out when it's done
I take my hat off to your efforts anyway, I wouldn't have the patience to scratchbuild my own ships

I can see what he is aiming for though, and as long as the rear hull is right, i think it will look pretty good.

yep...this is not the whole ship...i had a lot of work in front of me.
but i think when it is finished...i looks very nice to the other crusade EA ships...and when not...pitch had :twisted:
and point 2: when you not have patience to scratchbuild... then draw your ideas, people like me then build those ideas so good as we can. :wink:
it is really a hell of a work to scratchbuild a ship..... :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

cool, any advice for someone who is a little scared of scratch buliding a Shadow bio ship??

and then you can make the molds ( or you know anyone who can make this) with this parts (ok, i am still not a mold maker, but i want to make some in a couple of weeks)

but this is only one idea from me, i have many more for such kind of ships
i want to build a new frigate (the lupo class, when you know it. when not,look at efni.org), a new dreadnought and some more crusade ära ships. mainly the smaller ships at lower priority levels. :wink:
and i am not scratchbuild EA ships, only. i do this with minbari ships and the next projects after the EA, are some new narn and centauri vessels. (sorry but I don´t like this toy - like armaggedon ships) a new liati, or adira, for example :twisted:
