The Next Big sub-faction for next year!

I'm with Hiromoon (a few pages back) on adding the Indonesians as a sub-faction. To who? Why not the Americans, like in that bit of background where there are US troops stationed in Indonesia? I mean, our army has relied too much on the US over the last 30-40 years especially on tactics and know-how. Sure, today's Indonesian armed forces are equipped with German assault rifles and light armored vehicles, flying around in Russian jets and assault choppers. But, who knows in 10-15 years from now? Our current prez, a former general, was trained in the US. Also, we don't want to piss them off too much. Same goes to China, but the Indon. government is usually "friendlier" to the US than to China...

I don't know. I'm imagining: "Kopassus Scout/Recon squad" ("Grup 3/Sandhi Yudha" IRL), lightly armed, moves fast and has Elite Training, Stealthy and Infiltrate like Force Recon but with less gadgets. And cheaper too! Sorta like the LLDB in the Vietnam War perhaps?

Example Falklands war we had 118 major units at sea. Today 18 how sad is that, god if Argentina attacked the Falklands to-day we could do nothing to stop them.

that is completely untrue! We have 43 major units. The figure was nowhere near 118 in 82 :roll:

As for WW2, we sent you weapons, the RN worked closely with the RAN, we helped you as much as you helped us. We also were fighting alongside your troops in the burma etc.

yeah, that was more than fine until you attempted to stop us recalling our divisions (at the time most of our army was over there) in Africa while we where trying to stop our country from being invaded by Japan (note, recent sources point out that we might of been left alone... but at the time it was seen as a certain thing .) While ill understand that Britain had far, far more pressing things on her plate, surly it would be understandable that we could recall our troops to defend our country. This is what kicked us over to seeking support from the US and still dictates our foreign policy to this day.

Ok guys... It is not a faction in itself for sure but, here is what I would like to see:

CIVILIANS!!!!

Imagine;

A Media Van with a satelite dish ontop, witha camera/reporter team.

Peace protestors with post-signs and raised fists.

Taxidrivers and other civilian cars.

Hostages tied to chairs.

Ambulance, police vehicles, people on stretchers...

A unidentified Mob that could turn into a MEA Squad at any minute, but that are not a viable target for the opposition until they do...

Stuff like that.

Admit YOU want it!!!! Scenario galore.

Okay I'll say it! Cool ideas!! I really doubt they would be made by MP. Maybe a small company would make them if this game gets off the ground. If so, they could be made in white metal to save cost, put in bags and sold. I know I would by them.

On that note, I can't sculpt that well, but maybe there is a player out there that can and would. It is not that hard to make molds for white metal minis compared to other kinds of molds.

Well, if we can't have the American Army. I want Russia, hands down. Give me T-80s and T-90s, BMPs, Spetsnaz.... all way too cool and awesome looking camo as well.

So far the Brits have the best toys and the best look.

If the Germans are well tricked out with Flectarn and woodland vehicles with a complete unit list then I may just have to do a Future Born 2nd SS Panzer Division out of them... Fascist separatests from the socialist spiral of Europe...

Anyway, for Sub-Facts, I'd like to see rules for Local forces available for the EFTF and USMC.... Nothing fancy mind you....
