SST question: "Species 472"

Hi, by the way. New here.

I love Mongoose's Starship Troopers setting and it's a shame it was cancelled long before I even heard of it. That said, I'm still interested in the stuff that wasn't released, particularly the Mongoose-original races. Doing some digging on the Internet revealed plenty about the Forth and Coven, but the third one, Species 472, I only found a couple of sentences about. The curiosity is unbearable.

Does any army book draft and/or concept art for this race exist, and if so, is it possible to see these things?

I'd also be interested in seeing that. I used to be really into the game and a few years ago sold all my stuff on e-bay, and I've kicked my self ever since and recently decided to try and re-collect what I once had. I know back in the day there was a lot of online fan support for the game even after it was "canceled" is that stuff still around?

No rules were ever written for these guys, but they were intended to appear after the Coven. Digging through our archives, I turned up this;

Species 472
Race Name (note, this is what the Mobile Infantry call them, not what they call themselves): Demons, Devils, Cyborgs, Infernos, Others

Premise: From way below the galactic plane, a new power is stirring. Masterminded by a race perceived by their followers as gods, they seek to dominate all worlds above their own. This power does not simply destroy its enemies – it takes them, body and soul, subverting both into a grotesque parody that melds flesh with machine in unholy combinations.

Government and Society: Gods and homeworld never seen/not revealed. Captured worlds are turned into a mix of charnel houses and smoke-belching factories, as races are subverted into the army. Society, as such, does not exist, as most subverted soldiers decay quickly, lasting only a few months, forcing the army to constantly conquer or die.

Technology: Superior cybernetics combined with a callous wish to use them. Very resilient soldiers but overall technology perhaps a notch below that of the Federation. Weapons tend to be large, noisy and frighteningly effective.

Goals: Destroy all life. Follow the word of their gods.
