Spell Card Template

One of my Players, is playing an elf with 3 Common Magic Spells. To prevent constantly checking the rule book for spell descriptions, I asked him to note his spell details down.

Attached was his first attempt at Spell Card design. What do you guys think?

We will probably do all the spells in this format, just with different coloured backgrounds for each type of Magic.

What a good idea, the cards look good as well. Are they stock art from some where, or the creators own artwork?

I had to re size them in order to be uploaded to the site, but the template is available as a free download. He credits the artist somewhere on the page.

Please bear in mind these are just intended for our own use in-game.

Hey guys, I made these cards.

I used the templates from here:

And I used the artwork from various sources. As Warlock said, own use.

I have always loved the idea of having something cool to look at when it comes to spells or items

That is on the "cards" but for the next step, we are focusing on our Sorcerer's Grimoire ... Excuse the pun!

Next step is to compile all the different spells and decide on themes. Will keep everyone updated!

Darren (Arkangel) is in the process of adding a bunch more he completed overnight. There are subtle colour changes to differentiate between Sorcery and Common Magic.

Outstanding! Really great idea.

Out of curiosity, how many of you would fork out your hard earned for something like these? And what would be a reasonable price (in USD$)?

Basically, if there is sufficient market it may be worthwhile for Matt to commission an artist and do them 'officially', or for some entrepreneurial 3PP to do the same, perhaps as POD.
