Mongoose
Now I've never played SST before so all I have to go with is the BFE basic rules we now have. Anyways, I've noticed that an individual soldier's ability to kill an enemy depends on the range and leathality of his weapon but nothing to reflect his skill and basic training. So I was wondering if each unit would have special rules to reflect their combat skills?
Like for example, Marines are trained to be the best rifle/marksmen in the world always making sure every single shot counts. So would there be some special rule that gives them a second (or maybe even third?) chance to reroll a missed shot in a single turn?
Likewise would a poorly trained and equiped army like the MEA have special rules to reflect their LACK of skills? Maybe a negative modifier for shooting after having moved? Or a rule that makes it easy for them to be supressed?
