Source for 1/600 or 1/700 aircraft??

Tumbling Dice do an excellent range in 1/600. Skytrex also do a few, as do Stronghold (the old SDD range, including a very nice Condor).

In 1/700 you can pick up sets of plastic US and Japanese aircraft for use with the Tamiya / Fujimi / Aoshima WW2 model ranges, and Skywave / Pitroad do useful sets as well (ncluding Luftwaffe types and land based aircraft).

Too many years ago I had a collection of 1/700 Japanese and U.S. aircraft. I'll probably need to get them again. I'll use the same "accessory" kits offered from the plastic kit companies to place on carrier models. These really do work very well for fighters and bombers. The scale "contradiction" does give the feeling that they are at a higher altitude when near ships on the surface. I'll be sure to look at Trumpeter as well, but the last time I was collecting they were not around to buy from. Damn, but I'm getting old :lol: .

<Shameless Plug Follows>

I'm a big fan of the Tumbling Dice 1/600 range, which I not entirely coincidentally stock. Oh, and make decals for....

Do you have a link to any online sources for the 1/700 planes?

Revel makes many 1/700 scale for the ships of that scale they make.

6 USD for 12-18 planes.
