SOTA and the S&P Setting - Questions

I have questions. Well, one question and a statement.

SOTA 8 - whither the next chapter?

And while I won't ask an actual question about the S&P specific settings, I do still wait here with bated breath, along with everybody else, curious as to the ultimate decision.

It should be in editing. I'm starting in on SotA9 next week, and we've been throwing around the outline for the next campaign around for the last few days. (Very different. More sandboxy, much grittier, Trojan Reach...)

Do this and I will have your babi...errr...

Ok, that's biologically impossible and I didn't mean it that anyway. But that's EXACTLY what I'm looking for to kickstart my next Traveller game (in which we've decided to give the Third Imperium a second chance, largely because of all the stuff Mongoose is putting out to support it).

Errr....no it won't.

Anything on the horizon?

P.S. Am I interpreting that right - that Mythholder is the writer responsible?

If so, have several zen pints of beer*. SOTA is seriously awesome, especially the actual Secrets of the Ancients episode. The high-level 'avatar of ye gods' setting/variant rules is brilliant. Much, much more of this please. :D

* Not in a position to supply you with actual pints of beer unless you are in the vicinity of Preston, Lancashire. In which case let me know.

Woot! Can't wait to see it.

Oh good heavens! I just noticed you live in Cork. My ancestors (on my mother's side) came from there.

...Hello? This thing on?

Sorry for the thread necromancy but a one month's anniversary of a 'where is it then' post seems worth commenting on. Especially when both this episode and the follow-on are, according to the author, already complete, and especially when the players are left cliff-hanging on an elipsis.

Have I missed an announcement or something?

Cause the characters decided to take a vacation in Deneb - a yet unwritten sourcebook - on the planet called Real Life. SOTA is unavoidably delayed until the author can get back onto the space lanes and jump to the destination called Imagination.

Come on guys, it is good, but even if you are doing this live...surely any Referee can come up with the transition and recon back to the main plot, as I have done.

Oh, I just left them hanging in mid air. Hopefully SOTA 8 will come along before suspense turns to irritation - or I come up with an alternate plot.
