Hi all,

I had asked questions a while ago about painting my french ships, I painted a few and now I'm showing the first results of my (painstaking) efforts.

Please feel free to comment, any input directed toward making the next ones better is welcome ...

The little bit of white at the rear of the base is reserved for the tag with flag and name, but I still haven't come around to printing and sticking them.

The dark brown one is the first one, but I find I prefer the light color deck, and from the photos I found, it seems to better match with the actual colors.

Gwen it looks like you have done a nice job. I prefer the darker decking as it seems to have more depth but it may just be the pictures themselves. Perhaps you can lighten the gray a little. Anyway, keep on painting and post more of your pics.

I'll try a light cruiser and some more destroyers now.

But when I see the paint job of Big Gazza, who says it's not neet because he did it in 2 evenings only, I've got trouble finding some motivation for posting pics ...

You have to ignore the fact Gwen and just go for it, theres always someone out there who paints with a better / faster / neater brush etc. If you take it to heart you never get anything done ......Like me
