Software expert systems (CRB page 106)

Hello,

Here is my understanding of (software) expert systems in Traveller:-

Expert (TL 11-> 13
Mimics an INT/EDU skill at a skill level of Bandwidth-1.

Agent (TL 11-> 14)
Is an expert system dedicated to providing Electronics (Computer) skill at a skill level of Bandwidth.

Intellect (TL12 -> 14))
"An improved agent which can use Expert systems

My question: Is Intellect software only of use to robots and other devices?

Intellect + Expert is needed when the computer is the driving will performing the task.
Intelligent Interface + Expert is needed when a person is the driving will performing the task. Expert can either replace your skill, or give a DM +1 with your existing skill.

The INT/EDU-limitation only applies to a person using Expert to replace a skill, not getting a +1 DM with your own skill, nor a robot.

A Neural Link (CSC, p91) allows a person to use Expert to replace any skill.
