So... do I keep my old gamebooks?

Mongoose
I'm still holding on to my original Berkely/Pacer editions of Lone Wolf although I have replaced them with the Mongoose collector's editions. I am wondering if this is necessary? Due to the errors in the re-released books, the issues with the weapons charts and mission starting info, etc. I am a little leery of giving up the old books. However, I have gone through the errata info here and made notes and corrections in the new books.

So, does anyone think I still have reason to keep the original paperback editions for other than nostalgia reasons?

Later ones are worth a fortune. Sell 'em now, fininace your replacements!

On the other hand, keep your old ones, buy new ones as well. Have at least one of every edition possible in your collection.

I have the Berkely, Sparrow, Beaver, omnibus and Mongoose versions of FFtD. I have several versions of many of the books, including foreign language versions.

Personally I would hold onto them. Different artwork, different book styles and in some cases different choices / wording!
