the Sindalian empire was one of the largest of the pocket empires in the region, with a big economy and TL15 tech.
On the other hand, it's pretty clearly stated that they didn't have many major enemies. I'm not certain if they encountered the Aslan, but it's clear their final collapse was due to civil wars.
So my thought is that the largest combat ships they'd likely use wouldn't be bigger than light cruiser/light carrier by Imperial standards--after all, a big battleship might A. encourage teh commander to thoughts he shouldn't have, and B. would be far more of a ship that you need.
I am thinking of also having lighter versions of battleriders--How better to use politically unreliable, but useful, officers than give them command of a ship that has no strategic mobility...
(I'm working on a TAS adventure where the travellers discover that Sindal had some AI enforcer warships that aren't as dead as people think tthey are...)
