Regarding the Gaim:
1) I don't play them (and wont as they stand currently) which is a shame because I LOVE the models.
2) They are in my eyes the only FLEET in the game that is out and out broken (or that has ever held that mantle in my oppinion). Theres been SHIPS that have cause problems previously but never an entire fleet list to my way of thinking. I would personally favour an outright ban on them, yes I know its harsh on people who have only that fleet but people need to take a stand to convince mongoose to change the list!
Regarding forfeiting vs them if someone DOES bring them:
Well I can see two sides to the coin, if EVERYONE agreed beforehand to refuse to play them then that might get the message across but if your offering a substantial prize it seems a little unfair that that would be basically handing said prize to someone just because they were enough of a munchkin to use such a fleet at a tourney.
Also I personally would favour playing the games against them as the more stories of actual cases of the gaim basically walking away with an unoquivical victory we get the better the case for 'nerf the crap out of the' becomes.

I haven't played the Gaim yet, but I have seen their fighter swarm hit the Narn. Not a pretty sight, and not one I'm looking forward to.
I'm bringing Dilgar. My biggest fear is Minbari, not Gaim. I just played a 5 point Battle. I could not see them. I had a Pentacon of 3 Targraths, an Ochlavita-Ki and a Jashakar Vi hunting down a Tinashi, but didn't see it once! 4 Omelos and another Vi hunting down the second Tinashi. Couldn't see that one either! They both spent the first two turns hiding in a dustcloud. My Tikrit was blown away in turn 1.
Soul destroying defeat, especially as it was a campaign game, and I now have almost nothing left.

I have played against the Gaim - And I had an extra FAP, and I still lost!
If someone brings Gaim, then I will refuse to play them, it's as simple as that - I have better things to do with my time.

If a Gaim player should win the day then I will offer a prize, of similar value, to the best non-Gaim player.
They are a broken fleet and playing them in a competition is tantamount to cheating in my opinion - I refuse to play with them and I will refuse to play against them.

Tank, this tourney pack, any sign of it? I cant seem to find the post with the travel instructions any more and need to work out my route and print it off before I leave work!
The pack is a bit out of date since it has changed to 1pt Armageddon in all games, no cumulative damage.

I'm still toying with the idea, well either that or putting a Vorlon Heavy cruiser in the box and saying 'fleet sorted' (The Victory is the only one I think might actually stand a chance in hell though)
