Sentient Rabbits Tourney - 16th Feb 08 (UK)

aww i forgot all about the foxcubs!

settled on my fleet for the tourney. It's healthily cheesy :-)
just need to borrow 6 of the ships i require!

The Psi Corps rules say you can bring 2 FAP of EA, so surely your entire fleet could be EA if the whole fleet is 1 FAP.

So no restriction at all.

I doubt that is the intention though.

Sorry for the delay guys, I think we'll go with Burgers suggestion of FAP's at Raid level.

So as he said, 1 Raid pt for ISA and 2 for Psi Corp. If anyone has a major issue with that please let me know.

Do you have an address, map, website or other instructions as to how to get the shop?

I can't see either my Psi Corps fleet or the limited ships I have for Narn or EA working well in the 1pt Armageddon format. I may have to go back to FA scale ISA.

as long as I'm going, I can bring spare ships for any of those fleets. well, aside from the FA scale cheesemeisters.

Here ya go :)

There is a large multi-storey car park just to the North of the red pin, on the one-way street, accessible from the A323 west-bound. Top 2 floors are cheaper if you're feeling energetic (or broke).

Park there, go down to ground level. Cross the road, go into the pedestrian zone and "The Games Shop" (really original name there!) is on the left after about 50m.

is this the carpark out the back of Wilkinson in the shopping centre bit? ah I remember it well, the long treck down all the ramps :-)

Nope, a totally different car park, closer to the games shop and easier to get to from the A331/A323/M3 :D

Thanks. The unusual breakdowns for 1 armageddon point has got me doing serious thinking over my fleet selection.

Is 8 ships going to be out-sinked and so are boresights going to be difficult? Is the best fleet going to be a 12-skirmish fleet?

Burger, thanks for the info and map.

I can help provide fleets for players in FA scale for EA, Brakiri, Minbari, Some Narn (mostly unpainted).

I can also help out with Crusade EA in normal scale.

it's a conundrum to be sure. if you go for fewer boresighted ships, can you kill enough quickly to get some initiative advantage.
to be honest with the Narn battle choices as is, i would be inclined to drop to raid anyway with a few G'Kariths in the mix. With EA, even more stumped unless as you say, drop to skirmish with the chronos.

Indeed 1pt Armageddon does make you think ;) Although, the Armageddon splitting rules were better. The point is to encourage big ships and disfavour swarms.

Ideally my Psi Corps fleet would be 3 battle points of Psi Corps, using a split down and then split one battle point of EA into raid and skirmish, but the EA point will have to be an Omega -so too many boresights in too few ships.

I don't have enough Narn to do 8 raid or 12 skirmish and the ship limit prevents me bringing in twofers. I would have to do war, battle (G'quan ugh!), raid, skirmish, patrol. Which again is only 8 ships and too few sinks.

But then everyone is in the same boat. So maybe I should just pick the fleet I like and not worry too much about it! :D
