M Mr Evil Mongoose Jan 23, 2007 #3 idea was the uplift would make the tank lighter, so you could travers faster over marsh and such and evan open water. with modern armour technology making armour lighter, i can see some old russian designs getting the future treatment.

D DM Mongoose Jan 24, 2007 #13 It most certainly did. Mind you, having Windsor Davis in the cast helped What was quite sad was that one of my mates at school was the spitting image of Young Star - poor sod!

I Iorwerth Mongoose Jan 24, 2007 #15 Great photo in your signature. How did you make / where did you get the buildings in the background?
dsfrankevo Mongoose Jan 25, 2007 #16 Shot it w/ my Sony DSC-W30 Cybershot digital camera I set the camera on the table, maxed the optical zoom - angeled it up a touch - then cropped and resized it in Photoshop The figs are Devil Dog Design 28mm USMC & Rangers The tank is a Kitech 1/48 scale M1 - not a great model but retails for about $10 all over e-bay The buildings are a K-Line O gauge pharmacy converted to a Mosque on the right and a Plasticville O gauge apartment building on the left Thanks for the kind words - I thought it came out pretty cool!
