Random Idea - Hunters Listing Network

Hey all...for those B5 games masters out there that are running games that might have picked up a copy of the Bounty Hunter book, I have an idea.

What do you guys think about me e-mailing out bounty information monthly (stats included) for a premium target as if it came from the HLN? I think it could be fun for bounty hunter players to try and chase them down.

Not to mention it would be like a plot-bomb in a bottle.

What do you guys think?

I'll be using the HLN as a side-quest generator and revenue source for my players so I have to say yes, that sounds really cool. I love having player's aids to hand my group as opposed to simply describing them. Very good idea, and very cool of you to do.

Well I like the look of No1!
Alas I cannot fit him in the the EF based game I am planning to run, but if everything goes to plan I hope to start a 2nd group in the Corporate sector and this might make a good side adventue or a cover to get them to where I need them to be.

I agree, more please.

I can't fit him in either, but that's because my game just started and my PCs are all level 1. Poor lil' guys would be paste on the bulkhead...once they make it to the ISA era though, I fully intend to use this guy. He's the perfect sort to give them a break from galaxy-spanning conspiracies, and to let them focus on a good, old-fashioned NPC hunt.

I can already see him being the basis of a couple of scenarios. The plan is for the PCs (working for one mega-corp) need to meet Rohs to buy secrets he has taken from unknowing minds in return for enough cash for him to clear all his debts; of course they will have to keep him safe from the bounty hunters until the deal is done.
And when he double crosses them and escapes with some of their dark secrets they will become the hunters on his trail :twisted:

Traveller, I dig that idea. Mind if I borrow a variation of that to get my PCs into the HLN?

I was thinking some company like IPX asks the PCs to meet with their "courier" to buy some material. Turns out he's selling secrets that IPX hopes to make a fortune off of. When he steals their (and, by extension, IPX's) secrets, they are told to track him down, and to help them they are given an account on the HLN to get all the up-to-date info about their target.
