Psychocon tournament - Sat 20th September

An ACTA tournament will be run at this years Psychocon event on Saturday 20th September.

Psychocon is a gaming event held in Leeds where you can come along and play games just for fun or enter free tournaments with prizes. The event costs £5 for the day (£10 if you want to come for the whole weekend). There is no extra charge for the ACTA tournament. More details are here:

I've had little response from the forum on this so the current players are unknown to anyone here (with the exception of myself and Skavendan).

So far the players from the forum are:

There'll be no Shadows in a 5pt skirmish tourny I can tell you. I'd get 2 scouts and 4 fighters. Fear the Shadows

I'm undecided on the race I'll play. Anything that has models going spare I suspect. I too hate counters.

actually, at this level, 2 scouts should be fine, true you would have a raft of useless fighters along as well.

I concur - either don't bother taking the fighters or keep them out of harms way - they will just cost you VP.............

the 2 Scouts on the other hand should be quite fun

in all fairness, nearly everyone would struggle to some degree against that combo, I know that would "potentially" crush my fleet choice.

think one of the harder combos to face at 5 skirmish will be 2WSs, 2 BSs.

The White and blue star fleet will probably hurt more though I don't think he is taking that combo.

Also, Drakh Carrier (2 HR, 2 LR) plus 1 more LR. Nas-ty. The GEG 3+CBD will make it a nightmare to actually kill.

Is there a castle in/near Leeds? I only ask because, for those who are not aware, Leeds Castle is nowhere near the city of Leeds but I've often heard of tourists planning a trip to Leeds to visit Leeds Castle.

lol turists come to look at the castle in the town we live in but sometimes no1 informs them that is was destroyed and the Town Hall now stands in it's place. lol
