hello,

this is my first big ship designed for traveller. some notes first of all.

I wanted this ship to not look too out of place in a BSG context so it has no energy weapons at all. this is a deliberate design feature. I also have set the j-drive as a teleport drive to again fit in with the BSG feel.

Please let me know if i have got this right, what i've got wrong etc. maths is not my strongest suit so i am expecting there to be errors with the weights etc, but that is why i am posting this here.

Replace the compact bridge, with a Hardened one. Git rid of that -1DM and keep your crew alive a bit longer.

In a missile heavy setting, Nukes are a crew killer. Hardening the bridge will allso protect your ships computer.

That's an interesting design, I like it.

I concur with making the bridge hardened. If at all possible I'd also consider squeezing in another raptor.

At TL12 you get Nuclear Dampers, which leads to more balanced weapon mixes ........ Have they been invented yet in your seting?

Nuclear Dampers lower the use of missile based fleets of ships, in the 3I to a large degree. But some Vargr and many Hivers fleets like to stay at longer ranges and pound their foes with heavy missile and torpedo fire.
 
This ship was designed to fly in to close range and then pound the enemy into submission, usually with the larger ships (which i am currently designing) engaging at longer range.

The smart missiles are there as an anti-fighter deterrant and as a means of keeping any torps off of its back while it and others like it zoom around causing mayhem.
