But it can easily be taken too far. What if
GM: "The exotic bartender flirts with you and asks you to do something"
GM: Roll Willpower to see if you have to do as your asked
Exaggerating a bit here for effect. In regards to suppression, I don't want a situation where the control is taken from the player such that they have to role play their character as brave and boldly returning fire vs scared and scrambling for cover based on a dice roll.
Role playing feelings and reactions and what a character does based on what happens around them is what the game is all about to me. I have issue with dice rolls telling me how to role play a character.
Perhaps there should be a separate thread for suppression. I've noticed we have strayed a bit from the personal armor topic. Don't know if there are forum moderators to move the posts or is it up to us to start a new thread?
