Painting My Fleets... (Now With Very Early WIP Vorchans)

Court Jester

Mongoose
Well... just one ship so far... I have some scouts to do next and then a ton of fighters... 8(

I painted it to look all spidery and evil.

As well as turing out how I wanted it to (always a bonus) it was dead quick to paint taking just under half an hour (bonus). The blending is not super neat but for a gaming miniature its all good.

That is such a good idea. I've never been happy with the shadow ships on the board, sure they look like they did on the show but that's boring. Your painting breathes new life into them, great job.

Ver nice color blending - difficult with black and a much lighter color, like red. pretty cool effect! Thumbs up!

It is a little too bright for my tastes, but apart from that, really cool! That way you could separate War-levle ships from Armageddon-level ships by adjusting the brightness (bright red for youngfer ships, getting darker when they get older?).

looks great to me, might look a little funny on some of the other shadow ships like the scout (good luck with the fighters) but this is definatly awesome. 8)

Tonight I painted up my 3 scouts and then also had a bash at one of my Tigara's.

I need some better pictures of the scouts... more light but I am happy enough with how they turned out. And they are distinct from each other as well.

The Tigara was painted to fit in with the rest of my painted Minbari (all two of them) and I like how it came out. Again nothing too fancy just layering a few colours and then painting on the ripples.

yeah...i now have a MAJOR inferiority complex...it was hard enough getting motivated to paint, but now ... forget it lol. Dawg, you have got some talent!
