Painted Vorchan/Demos Squadrons... [new good pictures]

Hi guys,

Tonight I painted up 8 of my Vorchans and I have posted pictures on my website if you are interested in taking a look.

These are the Fleet Action Scale miniatures I got hold of a month or so ago. I just felt that a ship with 19 damage should not be nearly the same size as a Primus... So in my fleet I shall be using the ACtA scale ships spliced with FA scale ships for my Centauri fleet.

Like usual I love your paintwork.
I also agree about scale always found it funny that something like a vorchan was similar in size to a primus

They indeed look great, it's true it's a shame about the size. I wish there were a miniature in between sizewise.

Nice models and a nice idea using the old AOG vorchans, I had not thought of that. You have to admit though the Mongoose Vorchans are GREAT models if a bit big for skirmish sized ships.

I fiddle the scales in a different way. I use all mongoose capital ships, but use the old large AOG fighters instead of the diddy ones.

One large fighter to represent a flight is a different idea than 6 diddy fighters, but they do look so much cooler

Nice paint job by the way, so neat and so fast. The two should not go together. They are like cheese and fruit; they sound so wrong but are lovely when they come together.
