Opinion on the nemisis.

Mongoose
Am I the only one getting tired of the EA getting more advanced but still having boresites on their ships? If they can build the shadow hunter with a forward arc'd MSB why cant the nemisis have one too? It was built after the hunter and being the newest greatest ship in the fleet you'd think they'd want it to have the best tech they can give it. I'd leave everything else alone but make the MSB Fwd arc, precise. Same AD and everything else. That might make it actualy worth the armageddon level. Even then once you get past its front, its secondary weapons wont really save it.

No matter how "ADVANCED" EA ships might get, that's not going to change the fact that, overall, they're flying bricks. People keep forgetting that "Arcs" can also be representative of a ships inherent maneuverability, especially when it comes to "Forward".
Seriously, I don't get the complaint of boresights. It makes you play it smarter.

Thats not really the point. And I know that mongoose has said arc sometimes represent the manurverabilty of the ships, I see that as an excuse for lazy design. The omega on the show isnt a boresight but they make it in the game. I'm just saying that for an armageddon level ship, using first one tech, they could have given it a Fwd arc and precise. at least give it precise. All MSB's should have presice, weither they are boresight or not. Just like lighting cannons.

but an omega hardly turns in the show so doesnt need boresight. now if you had forward arc and only 1 45 degree turn every other turn that would be closer ;)

But an Omega can turn, when it needs to. Remeber the fight for B5. When the captains "retreated", the ships opened up jump points and turned around to leave and the ships did not take much time to accomplish that feat.

Ships were also standstill...

Had they tried to do that while moving forward it would have taken longer time.

I doubt it, the EA fraternity are never pleased with anything.

No, it would not have. The only problem is that the ship has a rotating section. Now, if the rotating section was spinning faster, then the ships would have more problems turning. So, if you are an alien, then you just need to make the rotating section move faster to reduce the turning rate of an Omega.

Not true. I love every EA ship, each ship has its place & uses. I am disappointed the Warlock I ordered before Armageddon is no longer a War Choice. I don't think i will be playing many if any Armageddon Level Games.

Here here, Im far from dissapointed with the current EA lists.

I have had, and continue to have only 3 winges about any of the EA lists:

1) Warlock should have stayed War (which Im happy to houserule anyway for now)
2) Saggitarius was very broken - now fixed
3)Nemesis is a poor ripoff of the Warlock miniature

In the last instance I would never have used a Nemesis even if it WAS a good ship and frankly I LIKE the fact that all EA big guns are boresights its one of the 'things' about the EA fleet and wouldnt change it :)
