Online Tournament - Vassal III

Sorry to do this last minute Triggy but would it be possible to reschedule for tommorow thursday evening? I've been feeling steadily worse and worse all day at workd (think I'm coming down with some annoying virus) and just want to fall over and go to sleep when I get home tonight :(

BTW, do you want to use version 7.3 as it has the Thunderbolt and Starfury counters?
 
Feeling much better today (despite my cat waking me up at 1 am and 4 am.... :evil: )

OK, played Locutus last night in a good Assassination game - we were fairly balanced as his Marathon came in behind my fleet and I bore down on his but the turning point came when the Marathon's speed meant it overshot my G'Lan and forced Locutus to make harsh decisions about initiative sinks. This allowed me more shots on his Command Omega and when it went, so did Locutus's chances in the game. A late no weapons critical on my G'Vrahn meant little as the Marathon was only four points from destruction and the Delphi all that was left (vs the damaged G'Vrahn and a G'Lan).

Good game but the Narn win.
 
Any word of the results from Catbarf vs JayRaider (I think this battle is finished, I just don't know how it ended) or Angelus2000 vs Waldronbob350? (Is there any word from Waldronbob at all?)

As soon as I get the results I'll post semi-final draws - this is intended to be a rapid tournament please :)

I think Catbarfs EA agents have given me the flu in preparation for part two of the game!! :lol:
 
For the second Saturday in a row Catbarf has failed to appear at the agreed time. Its now 90 minutes later, 1.35am here and i have a bad flu.

sorry triggy i know how you all feel im sour there is a good reason for it today.

please no one take this funny but the big problem is me in england and angel in america, i normal send a pm to who eva i am playing and thats it we play, put iv nether played any one from a differant country and im finding it a pain maybe its because i work nigths it seens that i only have a small window of game time.

please angel dont take this funny i only have a problem with time zones and triggy if you wont to boot me because of time zone and me working nigths i will not get funny, i will understand because this is about having fun and i think because of the reasons i have just given i am just messing it up for every one else and i do not wont to do that sorry.
 
I'm more agreeing with you that it's a pain but it would be nice to get the game moving :)

well im free to play now all day to day till 2000 hrs and same tomorrow then i think im free the 22ed and 23ed, day and nigth any time so i will leave it up to angel to say when he can make it :) .
 
Hi, I'd just like to say that this is my first post since I got a new comp (old one blew up :cry: ). I apologize for missing my game with Jayraider, and since I'm leaving for vacation Wednesday and not returning from Amsterdam until Monday, I felt that it isn't fair to keep him (and the tourny) waiting, and so I concede the match. Besides, I was losing (damn stealth :? ). So therefore Jay wins.
 
We just need Angelus and Waldronbob to play their game.....

Other than that Alex, Triggy and JayRaider are through and will play as soon as the other result is in.

Sorry that you have to dropout catbarf but you'll be more than welcome next time and we look forward to seeing you again :)
