What also puzzled me about the kung fu interface is that wouldn't it limit the weapon system's output to how fast you could kick or punch. It seemed in lotr that each kick or punch equated to one burst of fire. Fine on a slow firing weapon system, but lets see her fire a minigun. :lol: Also instead of designating a target once, she basically had to keep on pointing to something to keep the ship firing at it.

Byron. Easily the worst. From the speeches the hair, the gushing the inexplicable switch from pasifist to nutter from the revelation that the vorlon's made telepaths. He alone is the reason that I didn't buy season 5. Upon borrowing a friends copy I realised that he was bad enough to taint what was otherwise (lenier's derrangement aside) quite a good series.
Admittedly never been a fan of Miss Scoggin's either.
They really are the only two that grate for me, but dear God did Byron grate. It made you sympathise and support Bester like nothing else, they just didn't kill him quick enough.

I loved to hate Byron. But only because he was "stealing" lyta from zack!!!
Legend of the Rangers has plenty of bad points, but the one that stands out to me is the close up on the bad guy during a confrontation on the ranger ship - all his spikey hair bits look like the foam rubber they actually are...
the character of Warren Keffer was a concession to the network. I didn't hake his character so much as all the scenes that had to be contrived to put him in. The briefing area, the macho pilot stuff, the speeches, you didn't see any of that in season one and there was plenty of action with fighters.
I didn't like the plotline of the soul hunters. I liked seeing good old "Blank Rej" (kudos to anyone who gets that reference!) in action again, but it just struck me as a bit silly.
I did like the Techno-mages, Galen definately, and I think that the Crusade series could have been so much better if not for many of the reasons already mentioned. The out of order episodes really messed things up. they should have kept the first uniforms!

I'm actually glad that they didn't tie up all the loose ends where that's concerned. Shows that do it always seem so contrived...

I agree. Those love affairs were quite well executed. Just sad, true to the style of b5 drama.
