Have you tried mounting a single line of three of the large Nova turrets dorasl (and perhaps ventral) and one or two to the rear of the black (bridge?) structure? Kind of like the old battleships of the wet navies. The smaller turrets could then be mounted on the 'outriggers'

The project is still underway! I'll be handing off the prototype to timeslip on Monday. He'll clean it up and pass it on to his mould-making contact by the end of next week. One week turnaround for the initial batch so we're looking at mid-September. At which point I'll PM/email everyone who's contacted me and we'll start fulfillment. Thanks to everyone for their support!

Phase 2 complete: Prototype handed off for pre-mould detail & cleanup. It should then make it to the mould making process by Friday or Monday. At that point I'll start contacting those who've expressed interest - roughly one week later it will be ready to ship.
Couple of notes:
1.) I won't be able to supply two sets of weapons for the struts. Costs for casting & including two different sets of weapons would be too high. However there's nothing to stop people from ordering weapons as they see fit. I've elected to keep the original Nova style single-barrel turrets for the struts and not the Poseidon type turrets.
2.) The struts will have to be cast as solid block shapes which can be glued onto the hull - instead of an angled & hollow 'L' shape. The 'L' shape would be too fragile and they'd all break during casting or in shipping - not good. However, cut some slips of sheet styrene and you can easily recreate the struts as shown on the CGI.
I'll post as things progress. Almost done!

I met with timeslip on Thursday to go over some details he had to redo; strengthening some panels, placement of turrets, etc. We went with solid pieces for the weapon mounting struts but people can always cut those off and add styrene strips...this will make more sense when you see the model first hand. Speaking of which...

I'm creating a simple website for the sale of them as well - that link to be posted when we're ready to sell. Don't worry - the Nike is ready to leave spacedock after some final pre-flight checks!
