New Writer for Mongoose

Rurik

Mongoose
Well fine, if I can't spark any activity with my Rome post I'll try this.

Hopefully he will be a RQ writer, specifically on the Moorcock stuff. He certainly has the credentials.

A great hire methinks.

I have a Guinness mug. That is, it's a coffee mug bought at the Guinness brewery in Dublin, a nice matt-black affair with a toucan on it, rather than a mug I drink Guinness out of it. I drink my Guinness (and lots of it) in glasses.

Far too good to eat...

I think you mean "...rather than a mug out of which I drink Guinness." don't you, Mr Professional Writer? :P

No, I meant '...a mug from which I drink Guinness.'. But then yesterday was a long day. Today will be too. I might need some Guinness by the end of it.

And, in fact, it would only be appropriate!

Congrats, Loz, on the appointment. Looking forward to seeing some of your books soon.

And what's wrong with drinking Guinness out of a mug. Heck, any
vessel is better with Guinness in it. Or Murphy's.

Hmm, perhaps a nice lunchtime excursion to the local pub is in order
today - and tomorrow is St. Paddy's :)

You know, one of my favorite things about Guinness is that no matter how much green food coloring you put into it it never turns green.

-Ru

Who has always thought coloring beer green was just plain silly.

I concur - I don't need no stinking green food coloring to enjoy a good Irish
stout, or Irish whiskey, or any of that.

Next thing you know, the US will have Dr. O'Seuss's Green Corned Beef and
Cabbage ...

It is... and while my other half is in Dublin, I'm here, with me toucan mug.

Hey ho! Happy St Patrick's everyone!

We can look forward to stuff written in English! Oh, and welcome to the thankless world of RQ rules-writing

What? Do the rest of us write in pig latin?

Thankless? You have no idea... :)

Cheers all, who has a few pints on his plate for later,
Bry
