Not necessarily. An Earthquake can tear down buildings but doesn't splash the bodies of living creatures. And a storm can smash a skyscraper but doesn't shatter a body.

Niether of which are sound based. You can easily burst someone's ear drums and even kill a person if you expose them to a strong enough sonic blast by vibrating their innards and if we had the technology to focus/amplify it enough could literally "melt" living tissue similar to a microwave.
