New Adventure by Darlage/Rodriguez

Luca you are right about PDF, there is definately a place for it, and beacause of that, after the Conan adventure is finnished we will be producing the complete adventure for sale on the website as a PDF, it should only be a few pounds.
Plus we have a new printer on board so things should start moving now.

Slight change to last post. Mongoose wont let us sell our Conan Adventure, something about licences, we will have a think about what we are going to do about it, and let you all know. Sorry to mislead you all.

Ian

Do you happen to know if mongoose are producing or have anything in the pipeline for Conan, it was never our intention to step on any toes.

Ian

OK issue three is out, could you nice people let me know if they arrived OK, after the porblems last time i,m a little nervous this time around.

Ian

Sure thing. I'll post here as soon as I have it in hand. I probably won't see it for another week or so, though...it'll take a while to reach California, obviously.

oh yes...they know very well how to handle the Conan license...

We havent come across anyone who knows if Mongoose is using the licence. Not that it helps us though, we were going to sell it for £2 through the website, ce la vie.

We have a new Forum though http://the-ancible.com/forum/index.php
A new thing for us, but we thought we'd give it a go. Feel free to check it out, we are nothing without the feedback of our readers.

Ian.

Can i ask guys, what do you think of the Conan adventure in the mag, we have taken a bit of flak from the figure comunity about it, we will finnish the adventure, but we havent decided if we will look at another RP adventure in the future.

Ian.

I think it looks pretty good. Admittedly, I've only pretty thoroughly skimmed the first part of it but still.... In any event, I do fully intend to adapt some or all of the scenario for my upcoming Conan campaign so it will definitely be of use. Sorry, I can't yet give you any more detailed feedback than that.

I must say, though, I did think it a bit of an odd choice for inclusion in a magazine dedicated to miniatures and miniature gaming. I can see why you guys have taken some heat from that community over it.

The idea behind the adventure came about because we wanted to expand our readership, we hadnt realised that we had painted ourselves into a corner with the titles of the magazine, we have contemplated changing the header to include Roleplay as well. I personally feel that Roleplay is a huge part of gaming in general.

We will have to see what the future will bring.

In March this year, came to New Dragon Warrior published masterpiece, digital publishing and Mongoose Publishing. Although this new version is published in November 2008, which is when the game has been solved, and has appeared growth supplement (including the fable set) and a large variety of adventure on the bill. There are dedicated entirely to play, Ordo Denon, the digital version of the magazine can be downloaded and DriveThruRPG mongoose free download.
Dragon Warriors is a dog book was originally published from 1985 to 1986 6 Series game short. Games within their own world and the largest disturbance-free and summarized a simple system, but soon out of print.

OK i have recovered from Salute, just about. Now its time to get ready for the next one. Did any one else go, and if you did, did i meet you in the queue when i was handing out flyers for the Ancible Magazine.

Unfortunatly yes, we were going to sell it as a PDF, but Mongoose stopped us, something about licences.
If you are going to pick up the copies i would move fast, the first issue is quickly selling out, and unless there is a big request from the distributors, Kenny Robb the owner wont be making another print run.
I have mentioned doing the old editions as PDF, he did say that he would think about it.

I'm really just interested in the Conan adventure, and I can't see spending the money for three mags to get it.

Crud.

Thats a shame, i guess it depends on how good an adventure it is, or how badly you want it. Unfortunately we have no way, short of giving it away, of getting around it.
