No help in general here; I'll just note that ship class names usually originate from the first ship of the class produced, so there should be one Targrath that is named the "Targrath", a Vree Xill that is named the "Xill", and so forth.
Ship names have an association with geography historically, and I see no reason why that should not continue. In particular, consider that the Omelos, Wahant, and Rohric are named for conquered Dilgar worlds. The only exception is Innata, which would be a reasonable class name for any conjectural super-dreadnought.
Geographical locations on Omelos are available (in VERY small print) in the 1st Edition Dilgar Imperium supplement on page 21. You'll need a magnifying glass, but they're there. I, in particular, notice a city named "Arthaskala", which you might recognize as the old name for the Wahant-class.
For painting purposes, the best I can do to offer help is an insight to the Dilgar character set. On page 11 of the Dilgar Imperium supplement is a still of Jha'Dur. I believe the uniform she is wearing is, indeed, Dilgar. There are scrawls on the gold badge that look suspiciously like letters, and are almost clear enough to make out in total. That can give you a start, if you like.
